Matteo Veneziani (1987), signing under the pseudonym AAVV, is an Italian conceptual artist living and working in Brescia.
In his practice, he addresses themes such as capitalism, consumerism, and the behavioral dynamics arising from these forces, now widely recognized as the foundation and driving engine of modern society.
His expressive medium consists of everyday objects whose functions – and consequently, their perception – are altered, transcending their original utility. The artist has therefore introduced the concept of the Unready Made Art – an approach made possible precisely by what is being questioned, yet allowing its realization. It functions as a kind of short circuit, an unavoidable acceptance of the contradictions inherent in both the human psyche and society.
Without offering a personal or univocal interpretation, the works are often accompanied by texts composed, in most cases, of bulleted lists of questions. Veneziani’s entire body of work is guided by the intent to unsettle and stimulate thought in the viewer, inviting them to find their own subjective reading.

Nella sua ricerca affronta tematiche come il capitalismo, il consumismo e i gli aspetti comportamentali scaturiti da questi elementi, ormai riconosciuti come base e motore della società moderna.
Come medium espressivo vengono utilizzati oggetti comuni, a cui vengono alterate le funzioni e, di conseguenza, la visione, trascendendone l’utilità originaria. L’artista ha quindi introdotto il concetto di Unready Made Art – un approccio reso possibile proprio da ciò viene messo in discussone ma che permette la realizzazione dello stesso, come una sorta di cortocircuito, una inevitabile accettazione delle contraddizioni dell’animo umano e sociali.
Senza offrire un’interpretazione personale o univoca, le opere vengono affiancate a testi composti, nella maggior parte dei casi, da elenchi puntati di domande: l’intento che guida l’intera produzione di Veneziani è quello di smuovere e attivare un pensiero nell’osservatore, invitandolo a trovare una propria lettura soggettiva.
